Description
This vessel was designed as part of my Rapid Fleet Prototyping project. For more information on this project, please see the description of the world file, found here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1499175300

The Needle is a minimalist repair drone, primarily used for making minor repairs inside large vessels or installations, where carrying all of the parts to the location would be tedious, or otherwise impractical. While it lacks a conveyor system, it is capable of squeezing through 90° turns in a large grid without too much trouble.

As part of the Rapid Fleet Prototyping Project, the Needle is more of a late game tool as a maintenance device for adjusting or repairing large, complex grids - whether that be a station or warship. While it’s certainly possible to execute repairs without it, it’s definitely a convenient tool to have.
