Description

The Banshee Model G is an interceptor loaded with a set of gatling weaponry, plus a pair of missile turrets. While it lacks of the firepower of its cousin, the Banshee Model M, it boasts a lighter and narrower design, giving it a noticeable boost in acceleration. This vessel excels at long to medium-range dogfighting, able to outmaneuver nearly any other vessel.

As part of the Rapid Fleet Prototyping Project, this version of the Banshee was designed to focus more on high-speed sniper and hit-and-run tactics, rather than close-range dogfighting. It’s primary role is taking out either slower fighters (which is pretty much all of them), or poking at larger ships from a distance.
