Source Mastery Talent (Definitive Edition)

Description
Get a Talent that lets you have 4 Max Source points, and gain 1 extra source point on the use of Source Vampirism. You can learn and unlearn the talent at will. It comes with a book.

****Please be aware you will get 4 source points regardless of your current source points (like from 1 to 4 or 2 to 4) and when you take the talent off you will have 3 source points**** (If you want to work for source points the regular way, you may want to keep the talent disabled until you have 3).

Craft the Book: Bonedust + Blank Necromancy Book + Ink Pot and Quill (You keep the ink pot and quill). (if you have issues make sure it is in this order).
OR: Bonedust + Source Orb + Ink Pot and Quill (Yes, its a little weird, so it's not used by another mod).


To learn the talent you need 1 talent point. You can remove the talent whenever, just talk to the book again. If you got rid of the book, just craft it again. You will get your talent point back upon removing the talent.

Is it possible to craft a ink pot and quill, ive tried multiple ways for it to say invalid combination

Below I made a mistake and forgot that clean skill books are a separate entity, everything worked out.

I don't have a recipe for your fashion book. And I used Kraft, "Bonedust + Blank Necromancy Book + Ink Pot and Quill."
(the book of necromancy was "lifting a bloated corpse.")
And it didn't work out. Shackles of pain and other necromancy books (they were just bought, not made) do not work either.
Please make this skill available by default to all party members.
Either put the books in all 4 locations, or make the book available via the LeaderLib - Definitive Edition mod .

Or have I miss understood this. I thought taking the talent would give you four and you could absorb a fifth....is that not the case?

Hey, just wondering if the Fifth point only comes when you are in combat. I'm using source vampirism outside of combat for it won't go up to five.

This mod crashes my saved game when I added it to the game after we reached Arx. I did full regression testing of all 39 mods I have in place and those one crashes the game when paired with my other mods and my saved game. Just FYI. If you want a full list of my mods I'm using I can share that, just LMK.

Is it possible to increase the max source further? I think it'd be cool to be able to get 1sp over max for each extra sourcerer you talk to.

It does not have to be a new game, it will work on a saved game. You wont get the recipe in your recipe section or the book upon loading the mod. Once you loaded the mod up, just throw the ingredients together and it should make the book.
If that doesn't work, let me know which or if it was both recipes.
