Realistic Dogs

Description
Faster Runners:- They won't slow you down now, you will unless they are pups.
Faster Combat:- They'll tear through enemies quicker.
Not So Greedy - ok, so less realistic on this part, lets say we trained them to eat less.

UPDATED:- Changes now also affect Boneyard Wolves

Note:- These changes will also happen to wild dogs but due to them not running as much they remain pretty slow. If you do come across a fast pack of wild dog, well run of course unless you think you can take them down!!!

NOTE - Jan 2023 on:-
As many new mods have come along since this one that may have changed the behaviour of the vanilla dogs in the game and/or added new ones. These may or may not be compatible with each other AND may also change depending on what order they are in the mod list. I myself still use this mod and ones that include different/new dogs & while this mod should still affect the vanilla dogs as intended (assuming this mod is below any other "dog" mods) it is unlikely it will affect any totally new dogs in the same way as my mod obviously can't refer/link to those dog types as they weren't around at the time & are not vanilla.
Unless of course you merge them together & verify/modify the behaviour changes to suit your own preferences - but this would generally mean having to move any prospective merged/changed mods to your Kenshi game mod folder & removing/unsubscribing from the Steam workshop mods of the same name so they are not overwritten thereafter.

Is it wise to increase the attack speed of dogs? A properly trained hound is an extremely powerful opponent. I don’t know about you, but my dog (or rather a wolf, I installed the mod, I don’t like the ears of ordinary dogs) can snack on an entire detachment of the Holy Nation and not even break a sweat.

can confirm this doesn't seem to work with UWE if loaded first on the mod order list.

@Kili, no idea what that mod is so it's a similar answer to the one below. If UWE has extra dogs or changes dog behaviour then you would have to make sure my mod was below it in the mod order so it overwrites any changes, or vice versa depending on your preference.

@Petyr, sorry for delay in reply but not sure. I vaguely remember I had to alter a few things in my own playthrough to allow certain things to work with "More Dogs". But as far as I can remember I had to merge both mods "offline" so I could make sure my changes affected all the new dogs too in my game.
So it's likely this mod may only affect the vanilla dogs & only if it is below the "more dogs" mod. If not then that mod will overwrite my changes I believe.

Also, does this work with "More dogs"?

Yes it should, unless something changed since I last played in August 2021.
Please let me know if it doesn't & I will take a look next time I'm on steam ;o)

Thank you for fixing dogs, having a 7 foot bone wolf that runs faster than a hiver is heaven
