Creatures, Dungeons, and Cities (Definitive Edition)

Description
(Some unfinished maps are in this mod)

*Updated to work for definitive edition. I may eventually add more to this. If there are any bugs you want fixed just comment below and I will check it out. Check out the old mod listing page for pictures of the mod https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1138604669*

There are several very large maps in this mod, some big maps, and some creatures as well.

*Completed*

Stronghold: This map is the biggest map I have created. There are two different areas in this map. The first area is the stronghold area with shops, worker houses, the harbour, tavern, etc with a size of 320x384 meters. The second area is where all of the basements and 2-4th floors are located and its size is 384x256 meters. This entire map was designed to let players go where they want to go when they want to. The GM will not have to load any other levels (except the ship since it is mostly for decoration). This means each player can be on a different floor of a different building doing their own thing. This was the 8th map I made.

City1: This is a large city that has multiple patrolling NPCs, wandering citizens, and wandering wild life. There are sounds placed such as running water, birds, wind, and people. All of the small houses can be entered but most of the large buildings do not have anything inside them so you will have to load a separate map for them (up to you to make them). This was my third map I made.

Dungeon Large 1: Large empty dungeon that lets you decorate it how you want. This was my second map I made.

Dungeon2: Empty dungeon that lets you decorate it how you want. This was my first map I made.

*Work in Progress + ETA* (I have stopped modding but I may come back at a later date if GM mode is ever updated)

City2: This will be a large city. I have an idea for it to be just a large city with lots of buildings you can go into. This map would be good for a campaign that has a lot of quests in a city. ETA Unknown since I have not started it yet. The size will be similar to the stronghold map or even bigger depending on if it needs to be.

*Incomplete/On Pause*
TheHive: This is a VERY large desert map that I do not have the energy to complete just yet. The idea for this was to be similar to the Temple of Ahn'Qiraj from WoW (style wise). This will take about 40 hours to finish.

*Note to GMs for the Stronghold map*
Players have to use the wheels next to the draw bridges to cross. If you need to go from one floor to another you will have to click on the stairs to move your camera there because of the camera lock (sometimes it doesn't work because the camera is too close in that case just move your camera further away and it should work if all else fails posses an NPC and do it).

*How to activate in active campaign*

Make sure you have your campaigned saved -> On the main screen click mods -> Enable the mod -> Load your save All the creatures are now under the sub category Dungeon Creatures or Dungeon Monsters.

Known Bugs:
Changing anything on the Bonewidow will crash your game.
Rhino has no attack.
Giant Incarnates have no name or portrait.
Camera locked areas also locks the GM to that area. To get around this make an invisible NPC that you can double click in the encounters tab (must be far away) that way your camera gets fixed.

I know, this is why I hope we mass reject the idea of Bethesda-style "paid mods" store or similar curated mod databases because all it does is focus on console modding marketability instead of letting modders get fully creative.

@Tyranocif That is very disappointing to hear. I was really looking forward to it. :(

The BG3 officially released mod tools are bad, there is no scripting. Say goodbye to any hope for an "Upper City" zone mod or a Helia (the cut halfling werewolf companion) restoration mod.

@GHOJHIUZ I am not sure I'll do anything more with this mod but I am really looking forward to the BG3 mod tools once they release!

@Tyranocif There were not many videos at the time explaining how to use the engine but that playlist will do fine if you want to learn :) enjoy creating!

Hello Izex [author] did you watch this playlist to learn how to create these levels? I'd love to make my own levels, but in the meantime as I stumble through Divinity Engine 2 I will love to use yours!
