Tumba's Handpainted Descent Miniatures (1st Edition and Runebound) v 20200708

Description
Descent 1st Edition (and Runebound Miniatures + a couple 2nd Edition Minis).

Doesn't contain all all 1st Ed miniatures, but a fair amount: 20 heroes and 17 monsters, most monsters having separate Master and Common versions.

Not perhaps my finest moments in the art of miniature painting, but resonable quality, considering the size and the fact they were made in bulk years ago. The Heroes are actually older than 1st Ed Descent. They are from FFG's 1st Edition Runebound. As a lucky strike, the 1st Edition Descent used the same Hero figures, so I was more than happy to re-use my old ones. Sadly the age shows in the quality of the paint job. Photmetering zooms in all the details and zooming is never kind to any figures. Especially this size. :)

The Tuckbox in the middle contains all the miniatures for easy copy to your game. Just copy the box, load your game and paste. Remember to save your game after that. It is a Tumba's Tuckbox v2.2, and opens/closes by double-clicking or by pointing on it and pressing 1 or 2. When in open state it acts as a bag. Mind the button when dragging stuff out of it.

All figure bases are colorable. You can change colors by right-clicking the figure and choode a color tint of your liking.

A lot of work was put to bring these to public use. The figures took ages to paint back in the days, and photometering + converting them to TTS took a several weeks of constant effort.
I hope my effort was worth it and you'll find these useful in your TTS games.

You are free to use these in your public mods as long there is a mention of this mod as a source in the description.

Remember to rate if you like this mod. You rating it motivates me to do more releases like this.
To find more of my stuff, or stuff using my stuff. Just doa a search on "Tumba" in the Workshop...

Cheers,
Tumba

@Mexx. Tested that all loads fine. Sometimes Dropbox, or even Steam might strangle downloads if there's a lot of traffic.
Just try restarting the mod until all are loaded. If that doesn't work, you might be behind a firewall or proxy that might cause problems...
Not much more I can do about this. I hope you get them all downloaded...

great work, thanks. Although, a lot of figurines won't load for me, placing them brings up an import window. Maybe there's an easy fix for that?

Sorry, no Demons yet. But a couple of Wyverns. Hope you like them...

@DerVigilante. Nope, don't own most of them. Sorry. The basic heroes and basic monsters, maybe. But I have a lot of other projects going on at the moment...

The miniatures are great! Will you also make the miniatures from the second edition, too? And maybe all of them from the set? ^^
