Warsaw Uprising Defense Mission

The Warsaw uprising was planned and executed in perfect timing to intervene with the retreat of German forces from the Soviet border. While the Germans retreated, the Polish Underground Resistance led by the Polish Home Army "Armia Krajowa", struck the Germans occupying Warsaw, with the aim to liberate the capital and assert Polish sovereignty in the region.

While advancing on the eastern part of Warsaw, the Red Army was temporarily halted along with all combat operations. This allowed the Germans to regroup and defeat the Polish Resistance and raze Warsaw.

The battle was fought with little outside support, seeming as the Allies were occupied on the western front at the time; and the Soviets left them to fend for themselves so that when they advanced they wouldn't meet as heavy resistance.

It is September 1944, and the Warsaw Uprising has been in effect for sometime. With no outside support you are given command of the Polish Underground Resistance and you must do your best to hold a western sector of the city from advancing Wehrmacht forces.

They are covering the retreat of German forces who fought on the Soviet border, so your task will not be an easy one. Hold the sector until reinforcements arrive and relieve you from your defensive poistions.

This is a defense mission, both single player and Co-Op.
