Even older, English used the character þ, which also gives the th sound. In other words Ye might come from þe (though I haven't found any source to confirm or deny this for sure). þ is named thorn, was originally a rune and is still used in Icelandic.
That's a long off topic post, all because you added a non-existing word in your mod title. Nice mod btw. I like when deleted content isn't actually deleted and people get the choice of keeping it if they want to.
