Necromancer's Amulet of Tweakage

Description
If you've finished the "Blood On The Ice" missions and gotten the Necromancer's Amulet then here is a tweak for this, the Conjurers best friend. At least, I think it is now.

The stats have been tweaked slightly to make it [imo] a better early game item - since the Blood On The Ice mission can be done early, this tweaked reward will help carry your Conjurer a lot further than the vanilla version.

New stats are:
Fortify Conjuration 30 [25 vanilla]
Fortify Magicka 50 [no change]
Damage Health Regen 25% [75% vanilla]
Damage Magicka Regen 25% [75% vanilla]

Plus I gave it a new texture.

Enjoy!

So you're a Conjurer, eh? Why not compliment this amulet with my "Conjuration Timers of Tweakage"? Upped timers for Atronachs, Undead and Bound Weapons! Raising also works on slightly higher level targets. Simpe, clean. Grab it here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=16674

@sorrien i think it's supposed to be like a "you don't know how to access the awesome pwoer in this amulet" kinda thing until he tells you what it is or something blah im making a guess

For those who don't know. In order to get the Necro Amulet with the enchantment you have to sell it to calixto. Then confront Wunferth about the journal. When he tells you what it is he then tells you where the next murder will be. Stop Calixto by shoving a sword in his face (or spell). When you loot him he'll have the enchanted amulet on him.

The only time where my amulet did not change into The Necromancer's Amulet was the first time I did this quest. I didn't sell the amulet to Calixto, thought I had to give it to the Steward. When I told the Steward, and he arrested the Court mage, the amulet never changed. HOWEVER, later when I read up on the quest, and found out that the amulet was a conjurer's best friend, I did the quest again (on a different character) . This time, I didn't sell the amulet, but I did talk to the court mage first. He then tells you what the Amulet IS and suddenly, I have the necromancer's amulet in my bag, no-longer just some other amulet.

The only point to selling to Calixto is to get gold, that's it. It doesn't change the amulet, unless you find out what it really is from the court mage.

I am also stuck with the statless amulet, any way you could replace that as well? I don't see why the amulet just magically gets stats in the first place, if you want to fix a problem I'd fix that.

XamaX, those stats only become available *after* you sell the amulet to Calixto and *after* you finish the full quest line *then* loot the amulet from Calixto's corpse. If you have not sold the amulet to Calixto and you've finished the entire quest line then you're stuck with the statless amulet in your inventory which you must remove via the console. That is all vanilla. This mod, Necromancer's Amulet of Tweakage, tweaks the stats of the final amulet - it does not change the statless amulet.

where are you getting these vanilla stats? mine had none, also I'd rather like the ability to remove this from my inventory once the quest is done, if theres a mod for that.

@Nagneto, I'm not sure that will change. If you have the Necromancer Amulet stuck in your inventory and you've completed the Blood On the Ice quest line [and not sold the amulet to Calixto] then you'll only ever have the none-enchanted version which you'll have to console-command out of your inventory.

@Hooligantuan, It probably wouldn't be too difficult to turn the original, unenchanted version, into a regular amulet which you can then enchant. Go for it.
Hooligonzo 12 Mar, 2012 @ 3:12am
I'd rather just be able to enchant the damned thing myself.

Ha nice. I got that thing stuck in my inventory and it sucks that it didn't have any stats
