Description
When a wargame demonstrated medium and large TSN vessels suffered a significant tactical disadvantage without fighter recon support from a local carrier, the admiralty mandated the design of a compact recon craft to be deployed from ships in the range of 2k and 7k tonnes.

The resulting SR-01 "Toad" Light Recon Craft is now being assigned to light and heavy cruisers. Some older ships have undergone refits to include an accomodating hangar.
