UPDATE 10/7/2018: plr_stunstick_damge& plr_stunstick_dmg_enabled added

Want to get rid of that OP crowbar in PVP and CO-OP gamemodes? This is exactly what you need!

For unknow reason, Garry's Mod has removed convar 'sk_plr_dmg_crowbar' which presents in half life 2 and made modifying crowbar damage impossible. This plugin is created to solve this problem by adding an option to tweak the value. I wrote this plugin because I couldn't find anything like this in the workshop.

The tutorial is included in the image. But in case it failed to load, I will list and explain the convars you will need below:
'plr_crowbar_dmg_enabled'
By default set to 1. Other values will ignore 'plr_crowbar_dmg' and restore crowbar damage to gmod default value (25).
'plr_stunstick_dmg_enabled'
By default set to 1. Other values will ignore 'plr_stunstick_dmg' and restore stunstick damage to gmod default value (40).
'plr_crowbar_dmg'
The value of this convar determines the damage of your crowbar and it is set to 10 by default to mimic half life 2 crowbar. Chang it as you see fit.
'plr_stunstick_dmg'
The value of this convar determines the damage of your stunstick and it is set to 40 by default.

Q: How this plugin works?
A: Using EntityTakeDamage hook to modify damage caused by crowbar rather than changing the base value of crowbar damage.

Q: Is there any incompatable addon?
A: No, but only for those I have tested with. However, this plugin does not 'support' Hit Number and the latter will show the wrong value of 25 regardless of your dmg setting (the actual damage done is not affected). I guess the reason is that the 'Hit Number' also utilizes EntityTakeDamage hook to display damage. But as I said before actual dmg value is not affected by Hit Number, just a display error in short.

Q: Can I use it in my server?
A: Of course you can. This addon is tested on my own server. Though I would recommend you to write a new crowbar instead of using this addon.

@Jamesinator iirc there is a weapon editor plugin. But I am unsure whether it can edit base weapon or not.

So I checked out those convars, sk_plr_dmg_smg1 and stuff. They worked! But only on the NPC's. I'm trying to find a way to change the damage stats on the default weapons that'll effect players. Are there any such convars for that?

well now crowbars do 10 damage by default so will this mod be able to change it back?

yes, you can even change damage of guns and health of npc's
