Description
This afternoon you are taking an 8 car Class 455 on a London Waterloo to Hampton Court run. This service doesn't stop at every station, unlike some, however is still classed as 'Stopping'. Try to get the passengers to their destinations on time.

This is an actual Sunday afternoon service from the 16th September 2018. Large portions of the South Western Network were closed that day for engineering works, and combined with it being a Sunday, services in and out of London Waterloo were a little thin on the ground - especially long distance ones.

All AI is scheduled as per the timetable, with the standard replacements used as mentioned in the collection description. For this scenario, I have not used the 'stopping points' as the majority of the stations in the Waterloo to Woking section have the 8/10 car markers at the ends of the platforms anyway, rendering them pointless, as this is the length of pretty much every train stopping at these stations.

NB. Just before Surbiton, the speed limit drops to 20mph. This is marked on the HUD, and with speed limit signs. However, it should be noted that the speed actually drops when the points start, a short distance before the marker on the HUD.

Duration: ~40 minutes.

If you enjoy, why not check out my other scenarios for this route in the collection above?

Hey B1P1. Basically, the AP Lighting pack is not supported by the 3D weather system, which was used in this scenario, so I manually changed it to "1. Clear" out of personal preference, which generates results like this: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1519929266

Also, you're welcome for the link, I'm pretty sure you'll generate a greater audience with standard scenarios since everyone likes those :^)

Thanks for the link, its very helpful. Personally I prefer Career scenarios for the challenge they present, rather than just plain driving, and have always thought that creating them in Standard as well would require completely starting from scratch. It’s good to know this isn’t the case! I suppose it’s possible to have both the Career and the Standard scenarios on the workshop at the same time? If so, I’ll look into creating standard versions of all my scenarios over the next few weeks.

I’m glad you enjoyed the scenario, although I’m not really sure what you mean about the weather. I know you’ve mentioned it once before on one of my scenarios, but I think everything’s OK in the creation side of things - I don’t tend to get third party items so its come with a product on steam (if that’s even how TS weather settings work - I don’t know!)

Great scenario overall. Cloned it so I could change the weather to one that is supported by the AP Lighting EP.

Everything went perfectly, framerate was good and so was the AI. Drove it HUDless and finished it with a nice 925 points!

P.S. I personally don't like career scenarios, so I suggest you make standard scenario alternatives to your career scenarios. Check this video out if you want to know how to change scenario types :^)
