Ever get tired of being locked out of Gateway Construction because you can't get that darned Mega-Engineering tech? This mod removes that requirement!

I've found in my playthroughs that gateway travel is too critical a tech to be locked behind Mega-Engineering. Whoever rolls Mega-Engineering first has such an advantage that it makes the game un-fun because they can suddenly move their fleets from one side of the map to the other while you're seemingly stuck in the FTL stone age.

Gateway Construction still requires Gateway Activation before it will be available, which in turn requires Hyperspace Slipstreams (Hyper Drive III).
