Forward Station Io

Description
Designed as a base that was both a little tougher than my usual fare, fully featured and
still not too expensive to produce in a single player game. I kept the level to 12 and
the rare ores to a minimum.

Of note is that I decided to play with signal logic a bit. The furnace will not turn on
if the switch is off, the door is manually opened or someone is too close and will get
cooked. Safety first people :)

Placement is easy enough, the base has 2 full layers of foundation allowing it to be placed
on uneven terrain. The lowest levels is identified with white stripes and is meant to be fully
burried, the second layers should, ideally, be partly exposed all around. The solar pannels
are all located away from the player when spawning.

Thank you for your feedback. I chose the mixed construction for texturing and because I have always found Sathium easier than crushed rocks in large quantities. That being said I was also asked a more affordable version of this base and I might make an armored concrete version with less windows and just the bare essentials. I will post here if I go ahead with that project.

you could go fully armored concrete and lower to the minimum the sathium cost
