Description
The Wasp Corvette: a Level 10 light cruiser ideal as a side escort to your fleet, while also having all of the necessities of a Survivial Mode Gamepaly style.

The Ship
This ship was made from the very beginning to be nimble, small, stylish, but still rugged, neat, and efficient and purposeful.

Any comments and light critique are appreciated.

Design Notes:
This Ship follows a symmetrical design in terms of corridors/rooms, but has each side having its own unique decor/furnishings. There is a work bay on one side, while the other has a green house and med/oxygen bay. There is hallways leading from both of these sides forward and in toward the center hangar bay. These hallways also connect to small maintenance access rooms. The Wasp has its warp core and engine equipment beneath the bridge, which is 2 stories tall. Both sides have a docking port (not specifically pictured) that is highlighted with lights, and below them there is boarding ramps, sensor activated, with lights, also.

The Work Bay:
The work bay is recessed into the floor, with steps leading down into the bay. The surrounding catwalk enable access to other parts of the ship. The work bay itself has one advanced constructor, and an armor locker, which can easily be swapped out for a repair station, if you wish to add that. The armor locker can then replace the cargo box in a corner of the catwalk. the work bay has a rear door accessing the engine room.

The Green House:
The green house is relativley small, supporting up to 6 grow plots (only 4 included), but has 2 large fridges to store any plants picked up along the way of your journeys. The room also has a food processor. This Greenhouse has a glass wall bordering the walkway to the med/oxygen bay. Note: The growlights may not work, because of technicality issues with the game code. Please let me know if you have problems with this feature.

The Med/Oxygen Bay:
This bay contains an 02 Station as well as a simple-style Medical Station. Remember: if you need another form of this station, simply pick it up, and place a different variant of it in the same spot. The bay is at the same level as the door to the left hand borading ramp, which opens automatically when approached. The decorated catwalk around this bay has a door into the left engine room, also. The catwalk then follows forward to have an area that is currently occupied by a cargo box (Harvest) that can be used, should you attach a mining turret in the place of another turret on this vessel.

The Hangar:
The hangar was originally designed to have two landing spots, but this was discarded, being replaced with a terraced hangar bay with one landing pad in front, and a slightly heightened pad in back, featuring plenty of storage crates for your storage needs. The hangar has a manual door-open lock, and an automatic opening feature should this lock be off. This hangar is optimised for the RW Viper MkII which makes a nice fit in the landing bay.

The Bridge:
The command bridge is two decks, the mid- or lower deck being an acces hallway to other parts of the bridge and back landing pad. The bridge has seats for two, one being a passenger, and has a lift to take the pilot directly to his seat from the mid-deck. The bridge also has a back observation area of the back pad and the views beyond the rear of the ship. This observation area also has a control to the lights for the back pad.

Custom Options
There are a multitude of custom functions in the personal ship menu, including:
-A signal option that opens and unlocks all mantenance access doors and automatic-deploying ramps.
-A devices option to turn off all gravity to assist the potentially downed vessel coming in, and save power in atmosphere
-An option to turn off all navigation (flare block) lights on the vessel, should sneaking be required.
-A signal option to toggle docking lights for the side docking nodes
-A signal option to extend the ramp that leads up to the Hangar Bay, allowing hover vessels to get in a little easier.
-An option to turn of the hangar's lights, allowing for a darker hangar bay in case of night vision needs.


-All weapons on this ship are for defense purposes, and probably wouldn't beat a dedicated combat ship, should the occurrence happen. The Wasp primarily excells as a side escort because of this.

-All wepaons can be removed and replaced with any other turret that you deem to be needed. The armaments on this ship are meant to be swapped out for whatever suits you. I, personally being a PVE player, would substitute out some turrets to allow for a multiturret and a mining turret on the front's sides.

Please get to know your ships. Modify them and Change them to your liking. Add a new color scheme with your name on the side, if you want to.

This ship should fall nicely in any price point range. It is well acheivable in cost. Good Luck and have a safe flight.
