Description
I noticed several visual bugs in Attila, like missing shield bosses, and decided to fix them.
I tried to remain as close as possible to the (assumed, of course, because I can't know it) intention of the developers. That means only adressing issues that seem like an obvious error to me.
So if CA decided to use weapons that are inaccurate for the time period or culture, I left them untouched. There are other mods for that.

In most cases, I just changed the variantmesh files.
In regards to the so-called "spartan beard" (used by the Ostrogoth starting leader) and the longbow animation, I found them working in Rome 2 and just "stole" the files from there.
So yes, it's fully savegame compatible.

And it seems that is not the only one

Can you fix the 16 years old Saxon heir Esla having a portrait of an old man too? It's really annoying

I made a mistake. Steppe shield archers are correct, I meant Steppe horse archers. You can fix the bug for this unit in db/land_units_tables/land_units then go line 560 and modify man_animation (write rome_man_sword_shield_bow_reflex_horse in the corresponding square).

thank you for this good work
I haven't test all the units yet but for Steppe Shield Archers there is still a bug. They have swords (like in vanilla) but they don't use it in close combat. Can you fix it please ?

Thanks bro, really appreciated you doing that, I will try and test it out and see if it works though awhile ago the developers updated the game again its really annoying if you ask me. Also yeh I love playing the norse, they are pretty strong and to me have better infantry but shit calvary unless you use them right. Though so far as I played the game they are better defenders then really aggressive if you ask me, a shame norse don't got elite archers unless you hire mercs. Could have nothing but spears and pikes and make a square formation and the archers in the middle protected as you utterly destroy horse calvary and even infantry if your careful and play defensive.

@Buddy Tune:
Oh, that's awful, especially considering the Jutes are one of my favourite factions. But the Huskarls are so strong (and you get them so early), I was always done before my faction leader died, so I never noticed it. Never read anyone complaining about it either.

Anyway, I think I fixed it now (very busy at the moment, so I can't test it properly). The mod can be re-downloaded now and everything is of course savegame compatible.
Would be glad about any feedback so that I know whether it works or not.

@ps4udo:
Oh, never noticed that. I will keep it in mind and have a look at it.

I dunno if this is a right place to ask but when I play as one of the norsemen the jutes, after the first jute king dies the new king is missing an axe...? Is there anyway possible to fix that by reinstalling the game or a mod here? If its a mod that fixes that irritating small detail what is it?
