Era - 2000s - WWF/WWE

Upon departing from WCW in 2000, Eddie Guerrero joined the Radicalz stable in the WWF, along with fellow WCW departees, Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko and Perry Saturn. He ended up striking out on his own, spent a year in the independents and reutrned, bigger than ever, both literally and metaphorically.

Vastly popular with the crowd, Eddie teamed with his nephew Chavo, with the two proclaiming their affinity to win through nefarious methods, that only seemed to endear them more to the audience.

Eddie's long list of titles won included four WWE tag title reigns, a US title run, two Intercontinental and two European victories, but his grandest moment was set up by defeating Brock Lesnar for the WWE title in 2004. This resulted in a title defense against Kurt Angle at Wrestlemania 20, a victory which he celebrated with Chris Benoit after the latter won WWE's World Heavyweight title on the same night.
