Aries Class Destroyer

The Aries class destroyer is a heavily armed and armored warship designed for combat operations. The ship is armed with a number of weapons including cannons and flak turrets. Drones armed with cannons and rocket launchers circle the front of the ship. There's space set aside for two artillery turret upgrades along the belly of the ship near the front. The nose is heavily armored and there are a couple layers of combat steel around the rest of the ship. Sentry guns protect the hangar bay.

The interior of the ship features three decks. The main deck(deck 1) is where you'll find the hangar, cargo hold, the bridge, and the armory. The upper deck(deck 2) is set aside for scientific research. There's a medical lab here as well as a biolab and hydroponics. The sub level is the engineering deck.

The ship is not designed for planetary landings although it could be adapted for it if you added landing gear and removed the three lower 'drones'.

Wow, I love unique designs like this and you definitely standout with this one. Very well done and thought out. I like the placement of the turrets and the protection around them. That design is striking, really cannot wait to fly this on the server I play on. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks! It's a bit different from I normally do. A friend asked me to help him with a ship. This is the result. It's not as heavily armored as the one I delivered to him but that was the trade off for converting the interior from solid steel to a livable space.
