Description
One of the most influentual wrestlers in Japanese history, Riki Choshu is known for his time with NJPW as a wrestler and later a booker.

Choshu innovated the Scorpion Deathlock, which became well known in the US after being used by Bret Hart and Sting.

Choshu is a 3-time IWGP World Heavyweight Champion and held the WWF International Havyweight Championship once.

exactly, Riki is guy should have special status in wrestling business because he's the man who invented scorpion deathlock, not either bret hart & sting.....

It’ll happen some day. Fujinami was inducted a few years ago, and I wouldn’t be surprised if Riki gets in soon.

sadly we never see Vince mention this title even in HOF(funny thing is vince even mentioned about Junior title & tiger mask), and honestly Fujinami & Riki should induct into HOF as well....

Not a whole lot, just a few tag matches against WWF guys in the late 70's, early 80's from what I can tell. The WWF international Heavweight Title win came against Fujinami in Tokyo. He dropped the title back to Fujinami a little later. There was some collaboration between NJPW and WWF, and then NJPW and WCW way back then.
