If you want, put it up as private with a link, I'll subscribe and have a look at what you need to change.

I've renamed and tested several times and it throws up the same issue with the Nelsons, i.e. it is not possible to run your original mod alongside my reskinned one. Whichever comes lower in the load order overwrites the previous iteration, with either both (different) W1s in your livery or in mine. Short of providing a public health warning to subscribers, it isn't possible to run both together.

I tried that with the Nelsons, adding suffixes such as "_br2" to the MDL and other files, even editing the MSH files to reference the renamed MTL file, which in turn referenced the renamed texture files. I'll try this as an experiment and let you know if it works and can run alongside your original mod and if it runs into the same types of error.

I'm not sure what happened with the Nelsons... But you can publish this if you want.

To make sure people don't complain about stuff, best way is to just add another entity of the model. This reduces people saying 'it overwrites all my engines' etc.

Rename the .MDL file
Rename the .DDS files
Rename the .MTL files
Change the files to point at the appropriate files.

This prevents any cross talk between files. The seperate MDL means the engine has a seperate entry into the depot.

Even with a different MDL, the MTL and DDS files can still interfere if they have the same name and are enabled.

Hope this helps. I love your reskins and I don't want the Nelsons to put you off.

I've reskinned this because I really like the engine, but have no plans to publish after the fiasco with the Lord Nelsons.
