Description
Changes the colours of objects to random colours when placed.

Mod option to change colours with change skin button (paintbrush)
Also shows paintbrush on all buildings, so you can change existing buildings.


If someone wants the colours reset, let me know and I'll add something to Expanded Cheat Menu or this (whatever is easier).

I try not to mess with grid construction, too fiddly. The change skin should be easy enough.
This is just a simple little mod, you can use my change object colour if you want more control.

Would it be possible to exclude certain objects? Rainbow striped cables/pipes look a little silly to me.

Alternatively, perhaps an option to set the colour of a contiguous stretch of cable/pipe to a random colour.

If there's no adjacent cable, pick a random colour, if there's adjacent cable, use the colour of the adjacent cable. If there's more then one colour of adjacent cable, pick the most popular, and reset the colour of all of the contiguous cable to that colour.

Also, it would be nifty if you got random colours when you change the skin of a building, rather than just the vanilla colours for that skin.
