This is a retinue mod that adds 4 new retinue unit types for the Indian culture groups.

If you're using Pzyber's awesome mod called Good Old Retinues, I've made a version of this mod to work with it. Click the link below:

Khanda Broadsword Infantry
> 150 heavy infantry, 20 war elephants
> heavy infantry offense and defense +20%

Indian Spear Militia
> 200 pikemen, 300 light infantry
> pikemen offense +10%, defense and morale +20%
> light infantry offense and morale +10%

Talwar Cavalry
> 300 light cavalry
> cavalry offense +30%, morale +10%

War Elephant
> 50 war elephants
> elephant offense and defense +40%, morale +20%
> probably very op
> also available to the Iranian culture group such as Persian and Kurdish, but their war elephants won't have bonuses from the War Elephant Pens building which is cultural building exclusive to the Indian culture groups.

Compatible with other retinue mods as this only adds new retinue types.

It would be cool if this mod alud for other culture that have taken land in India to also have acess to these retinues.

@LuvedBR: To be fair, Indians used war elephants even in WW1, though not in combat role but hauling supplies far behind the lines, clearing tracks and pathways for infrastructure (and wire-laying), and helping British and French industries that way.

In CK2 days, Indian war elephants is closest one could get to having a real-life equivalent of "overpowered mythical dragon that destroys anything and everything".

50 war elephants? Thats almost the amount of elephants that the King of Assam was planning to give Abraham Lincoln in the american civil war.
Funnily enough, Lincoln didn't want the animals, saying that ''it would be too hard to maintain such animals here in America''.
And yes, you read that right. The king of Assam wanted to lend Abraham Lincoln some elephants to help in the war.
