Rapporter et problem med oversettelse
It's for 2 main reasons that I do not want to abandon this map and thus leave it active in the workshop:
The more important reason is that I cannot reproduce the error that players have reported. I used a clean installation of Portal 2 as well as the pre-implemented func_instance provided by Hammer for the bounce gel dropper, and I never witnessed this error once in my 25+ playthroughs I do for each of my maps for testing and finding unintended solutions. I also recompiled the map multiple times with different setups and options, but it keeps working for me.
Due to that, I assume that it is not only me who does get the bounce gel. And given that the rotated buttons also worked in my other maps, e.g. Jumping Puzzle 3 - Detour, I can't think of that being the reason for the bug. I know the map is large, but I did my best w.r.t. optimization with fog and func_details to reduce hardware requirements as much as I could.
The second reason is the amount of time I put into this map and the content in the map. I simply do not want to abandon 100+ hours of work because of an error that I never saw myself.
However, it is intended to be a short duration of 3 seconds where it dropps gel.
But since I used a func_instance for the dropper, I'm wondering what could cause the dropper not to work properly.
After restarting the map it worked a few times, long enough to get a (botched) attempt in, but now it's stopped working again.
I'll try to rephrase the help-section.
