Description
Era - 1990s / 2000s - Boxing - Heavyweight

An enormously popular boxer among his fellow Polish nationals, and a skilled fighter who fought many of the best of his era, Andrew Golota may be best known, however, for his tendency to falter in major fights.

Golata was born in Warsaw, Poland, and achieved Bronze in the 1988 Olympics for his home nation, also winning the 1989 European Championship. Turning pro a few years later, Golata racked up a solid win streak, leading up to an infamous title fight against Riddick Bowe in 1996. He managed to outbox his foe seven rounds into the fight, only to throw a blatant low punch, the third of such during the fight, and was disqualified. Bowe's contingent erupted in anger, and a riot escalated at ringside as a result.

The two would meet again, only to end again with Golata's disqualification for low punches. Even so, he managed several more title shots, defeated by Lennox Lewis and drawing with Chris Byrd, and fighting Tim Witherspoon, Michael Grant and Mike Tyson in between those two bouts.

As with all my edits, full AI-Moveset-Parameters are set.
