1846 - The Race for the Midwest

Description
Unofficial Scripted version of 1846 - The Race for the Midwest

Including a fully scripted Bank to make all the Book-Keeping easy.

Through the bank its possible to make all the money transfers needed and the payouts for the Train Runs, that are calculated automatically based on how many shares of the paying Company each player have (mouse over the payment options after selecting a company and entering a value to see a tooltip with how much each player will receive).

You can click the name in the Seat boards in the lower part of the table to change from Seat 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 to the players names. This boards will keep track of the players money and have a built-in certificates counter (just put any number of certificates on any Seat board and you will see what a mean).

There is a problem with the staking of flipped cards in TTS, so if you try stack or arrange cards facing up with others facing down you will have strange glitches and physics problems. That's an issue for the trains cards as they share both faces of the same card for different trains, just try to keep them stacked with all the same faces up or make two small decks to be able to see both faces.
At this point the mod does not change the number of available trains for each number of players when starting a new game, you have to do it yourself. I may implement a full New Game Setup system later.

Any feedback and suggestions will be welcome, hope you guys enjoy!

Hi, wanted you know that your mod has been added to my collection: Board Game Geek - BGG - May 2020 - Best Mod for each of the Top 500 Rated Games. Collection here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2086043930

The collection used this priority system:

1. Mod's Files Availability: Mod with all/most files still available for download
2. Feature completeness: Mod with greatest inclusion of expansions and/or promos available for the board game title
2. Scripting: Mod with scripting that most reduces work in setup/play for players
3. Component Quality: Mod with the best visuals/usability in terms of component quality
4. Table Setup/Ambiance: Mod with the best immersion with table, background, and other modeling.

Please also note that a mod that makes selection for this list very well could be one in which the mod author borrowed the majority of assets from another workshop listing, so full thanks to all who worked on a mod.

Thanks for your hard work!

Excellent Job. It would be totally a “nice to have” that when selecting number of players the trains and random card removals for less then 5 players was also done.

Suggestion: Let B4 and MS do half pay on company payout script. Treat the private as the only share of the company. Again minor suggestion,

the number of trains seems to default to 4 player regardless of the number of players picked

Any ideas how to do the drafting at the start? Do I need to manually add a hand location for players as admin or blindfold everyone? Any ideas?

I also forgot to mention but when I loaded the mod the B&O tokens were missing.

I noticed a small bug in the bank script. Whenever you select a company to pay out dividends, it seems to always show that the company receiving money for its own shares is PR no matter what company you selected. It does pay the money to the correct company when you actually execute the transaction but when you hover over "Pay full" for instance, the description shows that PR will receive the money.
