The Schism Quadrobarrel

No rules. No empathy. Just bawls. We are The Schism.

This is a motto of the red-skinned humanoid race that barely survived a nuclear apocalypse almost 300 years ago. Having lost their homeworld, the radiation-battered and heavily mutated survivors defied any possible social concepts and religions, thus becoming emotionless post-apocalyptic ravagers and naming themselves The Schism. Their fleet is assembled of cheap and unique hand-crafted ships, created from whatever basic scrap materials The Schism could lay their four-fingered hands on. One thing is sure - what The Schism have a-plenty is nukes - which they use either for propelling their ships or for obliterating any resistance. Having nothing to lose (The Schism suffer from extremely accellerated mutations so that every new generaton is visually and genetically completely unlike any previous), they move from system to system, scavenging and carelessly consuming all resources. Having encountered The Schism in space it is always best to flee or, if impossible, give up all possessions without a hopeless fight.

The Quadrobarrel is The Schism elite ship. A lot of sacrifices need to be made for the Schism to build such a ship. Though hand-crafted in space using cheap barrels, the ship heavily relies on abundant but valuable nukes, which the ship can launch in both front and rear directions.The ship is vulnerable at close range, so the four regular Barrelroller barrels had to be reinfoced and the rotation thrusters improved.
