Good one! Thanks.

It's updated, the flinging trick is no longer possible.

Yeah, it wasn't exactly that. I'll fix it soon, thanks for your feedback :) Try my "Thinking with cubes 3" for a hint how to make this one (or just read the comments).

This is how I did it, was this the solution?
portal on ceiling, portal on floor, fall, reach terminal velocity, shoot a portal on the wall above the entrance, fling straight into the exit.
After reading the comments here, I'm wondering if this wasn't the trick...

Thanks for testing. In fact, this is the most experimental of my maps, others are more "normal". I also don't like ninja-skill maps (like walking on the laser or edge of a lightbridge). I created this map, because I found the angled panel in goo to have interesting properties.
I've added your map to queue.

Found your level with a search for the #F4F tag.

This one was bizarre! I liked the actual solution more than my original idea, which was that I had to (spoiler?) get the laser really close to the right wall, then run along on top of it, leaning on the right wall and getting my butt zapped!

Dating back to Quake, I don't usually like levels that "mock" the game's physics by doing something that wouldn't make sense in real life. Like blocking the player's way with a wall that is exactly the minimum height he can't get over. "How will our hero ever get past this FIVE-FOOT WALL??"

Still, as experiments go, this one was interesting. And I'm looking forward to playing some more of your levels.

Can you check out mine?

It's my first level. I spent many hours testing it with a friend, tweaking and retesting. I think it's in solid shape, fun, and pretty clever.

Thanks.

I just made a level:
Troll

I couldn't think of any reasonable way to fit it into any logical puzzle, so I left it as a separate minimap :) Maybe you can use it as a part of your Impossibrus.

Great, now I have to wash my long fall boots. =)

Excellent demonstration of this concept. Thanks.

Thanks for having a look. I haven't seen this trick before and my Twc3 map actually gave me that idea (if cubes can handle it, why not to try yourself). A light bridge instead of fizzler would make it safe, but less evil :)
