Tumba's Handpainted Figures "Gangs of Tumba" v20201013

Description
My "No meeples" campaign continues with the last release of my old figures.

These are a variation of figures I used as pawns in many, many, boardgames. Too many, in fact, to distinguish a single title for them. Thus I grouped them into "Gangs" per theme and came up with parody of the name of an excellent movie.

The figures are old. A rag tag bunch of differen sizes, manufacturers and qualities. There is a lot of quality variation since the figures have been painted "on demand" through the decades. Also a big factor is that the figures scale vary from 20mm to 35mm. I tried to resize them to an universal size, so the bitmaps of some of the smaller figures aren't as sharp as some of the bigger ones, but seen from a normal viewing distance the difference is not as noticeable.

As always, I kept them as original as possible to keep them feeling "rustic". Some edition had to be done on a couple, where time had taken its toll, and the paint chipped so bagly that I fad to fix the failed parts. F.ex. "Nun with Gun" had its guns upper black part 50% chipped. Too much to call rustic, so fixed that. Minor chips and scratches are left as they were. Also, the smallesf figures, when resized to the same scale with the bigger ones tended to look "bulky". So I had to slim the figures down (x & y vector scale) a bit to be on par with the others. Other than that, the figures are as close to the originals as possible. If you see paint mistakes, then yup, they are mine.

They may not be perfect, but; "HEY!. Beats playing with meeples!". :)

Here's some suggestions where I used them:

Victorians:
- Kill Doctor Lucky
- Save Doctor Lucky
- Jacob Marley Esc.
- Whitch Trial
- Captain Parks Imaginary South Pole Expedition
- Stuff and Nonsense

Aliens, KKK, Scientists, Pulp Fiction:
- Deadwood Studios
- Hey! What's he building in there!

Le Belle Epoque:
- Mansions of Madness
- Call of Cthulhu
- Elder Sign

Dwarf:
- Gloomhaven

The Tuckbox in the middle contains all the miniatures for easy copy to your game. Just copy the box, load your game and paste. Remember to save your game after that. It is a Tumba's Tuckbox v2.2, and opens/closes by double-clicking or by pointing on it and pressing 1 or 2. When in open state it acts as a bag. Mind the button when dragging stuff out of it.

All figure bases are colorable. You can change colors by right-clicking the figure and choode a color tint of your liking.

You are free to use these in your public, non commercial, mods as long there is a mention of this mod as a source in the description.

Remember to rate if you like this mod. You rating it motivates me to do more releases like this.

To find more of my stuff, or stuff using my stuff. Just do a search on "Tumba" in the Workshop...

Cheers,
Tumba

@Jebi Jones. I'm glad you like my figures.
I do agree with you. Hand painted figures, with all their imperfections, bring some welcome rustic realism to TTS games.
I'll add more to "Gangs..." if I happen to paint something that can't be grouped to anything else.
Can't say when the next one will be released, as I'm working with other projects at the moment (new DLC for TTS).
Next figure update is probably for the Merchants and Marauders ship miniatures, updating it with the new ships from the expansion. Ships are already painted and photographed, so it's just about finding the time to photogrameter and clean the up for TTS...

Hey, I just wanted to say I love your handpainted figures, I prefer them to most HD models that some games use for their figures. Are you planning on adding more? I'm suscribed to most of your workshop items as you are the only one that uploads handpainted figures haha

@Sir_Charles. Thanks. Next, I'm taking a little break. Took me 2+ moths, almost every day, to photometer the 100+ figures I released recently (funny, never counted them...).
