First things first, backup any file you edit, so you can restore it easily in case you screw up.

Navigate to "C:\Users\Username\Documents\Square Enix\Batman Arkham Asylum GOTY\BmGame\Config" and open the "BmInput.ini" and add the following code.

[Engine.Console]
ConsoleKey=F10
TypeKey=Quote
MaxScrollbackSize=1024
HistoryBot=-1

Save the file and make sure to set the file to "Read-only".

This code brings up the console by pressing F10 during gameplay.
Start the game and load up the level, click Alt-Tab to minimize the game during gameplay, and copy the code below.

Now go back to the game, press F10 during gameplay to bring up the console, delete any word written in the console, i.e., "TeamSay" and then paste the code by clicking ctrl+v in the box and finally click "enter" to apply the code.

Bonus tip: to adjust FOV, click F10 to bring up the console and type "fov xx" while xx is the desired number, usually it is preferred between 90-110, personally I prefer 90~100, so type "fov 95" in the console and hit enter.

No known issues encountered with the centred view cam and I have finished the game with it, however adjusting FOV is disabling the zoom function, which I never use personally.

console not working , i type it in both files DefaultInput and BmInput

A little help here, if u don't find the (BmInput.ini) its just go find (DefaultInput.ini) instead, and it will work, hope its work for YOU guys (:

this is already in the bminput.ini and it doesnt bring up the console, any ideas?

Are you using mods? Run the game once while removing read only restrictions.
then load your game. Exit. THen Enter
[Engine.Console]
ConsoleKey=F10
TypeKey=Quote
MaxScrollbackSize=1024
HistoryBot=-1

And Save file, then set it to read only.
THen load up the game again, ALso while making sure NO gamepads are connected to your pc. Then you should be able to use the F10 Key to bring up the console , click Alt+Tab to minimize the game during gameplay, and copy the code mentioned by original poster

then hit enter. Your view should be centred. Then you can connect any gamepads and enjoy the game the way you want!!! Hope this helps :)

this is already in the bminput.ini and it doesnt bring up the console, any ideas?
