Description
Papa Shango, basedon Baron Samedi, was a voodoo gimmick portrayed by Charles Wright, who also appeared for WWF/WWE as Kama Mustafa and more famously, The Godfather.

Papa Shango feuded with Hulk Hogan not long after his debut in early 1992, and he moved on to battle The Ultimate Warrior when Warrior returned to assist Hogan against Shango and Sid.

The gimmick didn't last too much longer, and Wright disappeared from WWF TV in July 1993.
