KAIRI’s music combines his love of traditional Japanese music with modern day harmony and production. His inspirations come from artists such as Camellia, Nhato, Virtual Riot, and Snail’s House, as well as composers such as Masashi Hamauzu, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Hiroyuki Sawano.

KAIRI has a rich background in composing Japanese-influenced orchestral video game music, and it was through his love of orchestral music that he discovered how to express himself through electronic textures and rhythms. He continues to build a blend between what are often considered to be two vastly different types of music, in order to create an auditory experience that reaches the ever-increasing number of people who simply love all things Japan and gaming.
