Shenzhen (central location)

Shenzhen City, referred to as Shen, also known as Pengcheng, is a prefecture-level city located in the Guangdong Province of the People's Republic of China. It is also a sub-provincial-level plan city, special economic zone and national comprehensive reform pilot zone. It was based in the original Baoan County in January 1979. Established as a center for China's securities capital market and an important international economic center. The entire city of Shenzhen is included in the scope of the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone. It borders Hong Kong to the south and Huizhou City and Dongguan City to the north.
