Daedalus-Class Starship

Description
Daedalus-class starship from the pre-TOS era of Star Trek. First appeared as Captain Sisko's desktop model of the USS Horizon in Star Trek Deep Space Nine. It was the mainstay of Starfleet's space exploration fleet prior to the introduction of saucer-hulled starships, and refitted examples remained in service into the TOS era as support and training vessels.
