Weapon attack rate is much more of concern than how much damage it does. Damage is largely strength/dex driven in the game but attack rate effects MANY more factors of weapons and can push a middling damage weapon to, in fact, very good.. Nothing thats made by a modder should require MORE strength to use than the heaviest vanilla weapon.
Not sure if you understand how weapons work, but a weapon can't be swung at full speed unless the character's Strength value is twice of whatever the weight of the weapon is. Because the highest-grade version of the Plate Mace, the Meitou version, is 52 kg, it can never be swung at full force. It needs to be at least lowered to 50 kg.
On top of the extreme weight, the weapon classification, Blunt, makes a wielder unable to gain Strength XP just from using the mace, like a Heavy Weapon classification would. I get that this weapon is literally the epitome of "Blunt", but it needs to be categorized as a Heavy Weapon in order to become viable in any respect.
Weapon looks cool, and everything else about it is balanced, but the weight and type of the weapon leave much to be desired.
It was useless to lower the weight value.
I was adapting it before I knew it!
