Features
This mod is based on the Designer's Collection edition of Quantum, also termed the Revised Edition, which incorporates unique card art for each card:

- Digitally remastered with HQ map tiles, card art, etc.
- Includes "The Void" & Entanglement expansions
- Scripted setup for all supported map layouts (Base, Advanced & Expansion map layouts)
- Scripted dice rolling (i.e. dice roll modifiers, re-rolling, etc. per Command Cards in play)
- Rotate die (i.e. "ship") if special ability used (for tracking purposes; see note below)
- Scripted Card Decks (Auto-Refill, Refresh, etc.)

Note: To indicate if a Ship has used its special ability, right-click a die, select Rotation Value & click any value higher than 6 to rotate the die 45 degrees. Important! To rotate its current value, add 6 to that value & select that rotation value.

Example: To rotate a die with a value of 3, select a rotation value of 9 to rotate it 45 degrees (i.e. 3 + 6 = 9).

Description
Quantum is an epic game of strategy and conquest for 2-4 fleet commanders.

In Quantum, each player is a fleet commander from one of the four factions of humanity, struggling to conquer a sector of space. Every die is a starship, with the value of the die determining the movement of the ship, but also its combat power – with low numbers more powerful. So a [ 6 ] is a quick but fragile Scout and a [ 1 ] is a slow but mighty Battlestation.

Each type of ship also has a special power that can be used once per turn: Destroyers can warp space to swap places with other dice and Flagships can transport other ships. These powers can be used in combination for devastating effects. However, you’re not stuck with your starting ships because you can use Quantum technology by spending actions to transform (re-roll) your ships. Although randomness plays a role in the game, it is up to you as whether you want to push your luck. Quantum is very much a strategy game.

You win by constructing Quantum Cubes – massive planetary energy extractors. Each time you build a new one, you can expand your fleet, earn a new permanent ability, or take a one-time special move. The board itself is made out of modular tiles, and you can play on one of the 30 layouts that come with the game or design your own. The ship powers, player abilities, and board designs combine to create a limitless set of possibilities for how to play and strategies for how to win.

With elegant mechanics, an infinity of scenarios, and easy-to-learn rules that lead to deep gameplay, Quantum is a one-of-a-kind game of space combat, strategy and colonization that will satisfy both hard-core and casual players.

Quantum won the 2012 Game Design Award at the IndieCade Festival of Independent Games, as a prototype game with the title Armada d6.

Can you change the mod's name back to normal? it means if i search for it I'll never find it. And you won't get into any trouble. I made my quantum mod in 2014, it's still up and no one's ever bothered me about it

@Knaughx I appreciate you taking the time & effort to recognize mod creators. I can't speak for others but it spurs me on to continue doing the work. All the best to you!

Hi, wanted you know that your mod has been added to my collection: Board Game Geek - BGG - May 2020 - Best Mod for each of the Top 500 Rated Games. Collection here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2086043930

The collection used this priority system:

1. Mod's Files Availability: Mod with all/most files still available for download
2. Feature completeness: Mod with greatest inclusion of expansions and/or promos available for the board game title
2. Scripting: Mod with scripting that most reduces work in setup/play for players
3. Component Quality: Mod with the best visuals/usability in terms of component quality
4. Table Setup/Ambiance: Mod with the best immersion with table, background, and other modeling.

Please also note that a mod that makes selection for this list very well could be one in which the mod author borrowed the majority of assets from another workshop listing, so full thanks to all who worked on a mod.

Thanks for your hard work!

@Billy The Kid, thanks for the heads up on the dice rotations, they are fixed.

Why the name of the mod is mutnauQ and not Quantum? Also the feature in which we can rotate the dice 45 degrees to indicate they've been used isn't working, all dices have only 6 states

thanks!
