A Hunter's Life

Description
This mod aims to make hunting in skyrim fun, and rewarding. Pelt prices are better, you can craft fur armor at a tanning rack, and you can craft wooden bows as well. There is now a archery trainer in Falkreath, and I aim to make that the hunting capital of skyrim. You can also get a hunting dagger. It is not a custom model/texture right now, but might be in future versions.

I will be adding unique item drops for animials, so stay tooned for that.

Hope you like the mod and Enjoy!

Version history:

Version 1.0:

Added new item tanned pelt, witch can be made from any pelt.

Changed the price of pelts, they are now much higher, so you can make a living off of them.

Added The Hunter's Blade, witch can be crafted at thee skyforge.

Added craftable wooden bows, you first need the craftable bows perk. You can also craft a special bow that works really good on animials.

Added Elk Pelts, and Elk meat, so you no longer get venison from Elk. Hunter's also have a chance to have an Elk pelt.

Added Elk stew.

Added craftable fur armor. You can craft fur armor with tanned pelts. Depending on what kind of tanned pelt you use(e.g wolf, deer, bear), the armor rating will be lower or higher.

Version 2.0

Added Coyotes to Skyrim.

Added Coyote pelts.

Added Coyote meat.

Added Coyote stew.

Changed the price of pelts, they are now much higher then before.

Version 2.1 - Mammoth Update

Added Mammoth Fur - and the other objects that go with it(eg. Tanned Mammoth Fur)

Added Mammoth Meat(More Mammoth Meat, as just taking the trunk seemed like a waist)

Added Cooked Mammoth Meat

Added two new NPCs outside of Falkreath. One will sell a few items, and the other will take you hunting if wanted.*

Added a few new AI packages to Paggear, so he will be more human-ish, and will interact with more objects.

The new NPCs both have AI custom packages, including shooting at a target an hour a day.

*There is currently a problem with the hunting option. When you select the hunting option, he will go hunting, but, he will never stop, ever. I have set up dialouge so you can tell him that you are done hunting, and he will then stop hunting, and go back to camp. However, there is a problem where when you ask him to hunt agian, he will not do it, so, at the current time, I suggest not telling him to stop hunting, he will always hunt, exept for at night, when he will sleep. If you have anymore questions about this then post in the comments below.

Planned connent: Better hunting cycle.

More Animals.

Special hunting arrows.

You should make the arrows travek faster PLEASE. I can't find any mod at all that makes arrows travel faster, they're so slow.

Hunting is difficult in skyrim until you get a strong enough bow with perks to take down a deer in one shot because you'll rarely get a second. Skyrim is meant to be a harsh place to be sure.

@Lizzi'sBow: Yeah, it comes with them.

@I might do this sometime in the future, but don't hold your breath on it, I am really busy right now.

this seems like a great little mod. I'll give it a try. Does it come with craftable hunting and long bows both?
