Cassandra Hardcore is Cassandra's twin, more aggressive, and less forgiving.

After a grace period, her difficulty is oscillating at vanilla's level (between lvl n and n+1), threats are more frequent and adaptation is less forgiving. On the bright side, the population intent is increased.

The (irregular) cycles are hidden, and world dependent.

The recommended difficulty with this storyteller is savage. Of course you can play merciless, but since the difficulty is dynamic and adaptation harder, at the end of the day savage hardcore will be harder than merciless classic.

It's hardcore but not crazy hardcore, meant to be vanilla friendly +/- minor OP mods.
