I’m too conflicted to like or dislike it. It borders on being a tutorial, not a puzzle, but teaches a technique never covered in the base game (though it makes sense if you think about it). The "puzzle" is discovering the technique, unlike the usual "how do I get there?"
My main gripe is that it demands high precision, making it more than just a mental puzzle. From what I understand, Portal 2 puzzles requiring precision are frowned upon. I've also heard one should be able to beat any map with a controller. So the word "Easy" in the title is misleading. Easy to understand, not easy to execute.
Also, the turret room is very distracting. When playing, you realize it’s impossible to reach, but given how impossible the solution jump feels, you start to doubt even that.
I’m not disliking the map, but I won’t like it either. At least from the perspective of beating it as part of the "no elements" collection.
Yeah… not really my cup of tea. Very execution-based and you do have to be going at a certain speed in order to do this. Unless I cheesed it. But I literally couldn’t see any other way with the surfaces present. I also have no idea what the turret room was for and it felt like I had to get over there even though there was obviously no way over. Bad red herring if you ask me.
Although, I did find a slightly different way to do it that’s more reliable if you can shoot portals this fast.

It does require a lot more dexterity, and can be occasionally finicky, and requires keeping track of portal rotation at pretty much all times , which is not for everybody.
The maps underneath this one only get harder. It pushes the concept of "no elements" to the absolute limit, which does bump up against the whole "once you figure out how the puzzle pieces fit together, it's easy to execute" elegance I like in Portal, so I understand if that's a dealbreaker for you. I just find these maps too interesting not to include. Hope that clears it up :)
