T-90A Remastered

Update: Fixed a fatal flaw brought about by an update that changed how parts connected. The main cannon now can change elevation again. Sorry this fix took so long.

The T-90 is a third generation Russian main battle tank. It is a heavily upgraded version of the T-72, boasting thicker armor, an improved fire control system and sights, and high-tech active defense systems (Shtora and Arena) to defeat incoming enemy projectiles. A component of the Shtora-1, infra-red dazzlers give the tank its unique set of menacing red eyes when activated (beacons). What is special about the T-90A varient is its welded rolled steel turret which provides improved armor protection for the crew. This means it is one of the few Russian tanks that have deviated away from the cheaper but much weaker dome shaped cast steel turrets. Altogether, the T-90A has a unique style matched by no other and is my personal favorite when it comes to armored fighting vehicles.

• Coaxial 7.62 x 54mm PKMT
  
• Roof mounted 12.7 x 108mm Kord machinegun (fires with coaxial)

This remastered version is vast improvement over my previous upload. So much so that I believed it needed its own Workshop page. It features tasteful edits to the hull and a completely redone turret with a much more sleek design. The emphasis this time around was to get the proportions of everything right.

As for all those subscribers, I have included a few pictures at the end of the slideshow showing the transformation of the T-90A over the past couple years and how much it has changed. I know the best out there could whip up a tank like this in a few days but this creation of mine has grown with me since the very beginning. Thank you all for the support!

Side note: I do not take credit for the props used in my pictures; my only work are the T-90s present throughout. Also, I took inspiration for some small details from other well-received T-90s such as those by OZZA, Killer4117, and eca001.
