Description

The SV_Planetscout is a light small vessel equipped with a warp drive and a passenger seat to allow early game planet hopping.

It is an overhauled Version of the prefab Tier 2b, unlocks at lvl 12 and has your basic survival needs covered.

- Warp Drive & tank
- Constructor
- Fridge
- small Cargo Box x2
- passenger seat

Please note:
This ship is best used for exploration and visiting other planets early in the game.
Its not made for fighting, as the whole ship is made of 'soft' steel blocks and the cockpit is very exposed.

DISCLAIMER:
I did not play in long time, thus this ship might be incompatible with newer Patches. Please beware!

Strafing is a bit slow inside an atmosphere I had no problems in space with it. Very nimble over time I did upgrade to harden steel and removed the passenger pod for a shield unit, generator, and fuel tank when A10 was released.

It's very functional, though slow on the strafing. My largest complaint is the lack of an O2 station for exploration. I mounted mine right behind the passenger compartment.
