Precursor Civics (OUTDATED)

Description
This mod adds 3 civics that let you start the game with several technologies already researched:
  • Advanced Empire - you start with 21 x Tier 1 technologies, and an additional 2000 energy, 2000 minerals and 100 Food if you are organic
  • Ancient Knowledge - all the benefits of Advanced Empire, and several additional Tier 2 technnologies and an additional 2000 energy and 2000 minerals (so 4000 each)
  • Precursor Empire - all the benfits of Ancient Knowledge, and several additional Tier 3 technologies and an additional 4000 energy + 4000 minerals (so 8000 each)

These civics are not selectable in-game and random empires will not spawn with them. You can only select these civics when creating custom empires.

The new civics use the same icons as my Precursor Traits mod, as I envisage that you would use both mods together - i.e. if you select the Advanced trait you might want to select the Advanced Empire civic (but you don't have to).

Currently the descriptions are in English only. If you would like to supply translations for your language, please get in touch.

I would love to see an update for this, As a fellow Modder. i dont doubt this will need a complete rewrite by now. Wish you luck.

hello. tried out your mod, even though it said it was out of date. so you know, i did encounter an issue with it, likely cause of the game version (2.3.3). so, i do get some techs unlocked at the start, so that seems to be working. however, the boosts to energy and mats are not there. not sure about that. also, when i run this mod, it causes my game to crash when i open my tech menu sometimes. not sure on that either. i have a heavy suspicion that this is likely another mod im running not liking yours. i'm sure i'll figure that out soon. other then that, i like the idea of the mod, and hope you can update it for use with 2.3.3. good work on it so far.

Does this work with v2.2.3 ? The precursor traits does but this one still says out of date. Any news on an update?
