[WotC] Kruber voice pack

In 1 collection by CureAga Wine
Warhammer Fantasy stuff for XCom
6 items
Description
After taking his sweet time, Kruber joins his squadmates in an uneasy task of exterminating aliens.

This mod adds 350+ voice lines from everybody's favorite PTSD mercenary into the game. Avalable in both clean and radio filtered versions. Since I couldn't figure out an optimal volume, there are also quiet variants of both versions now.

Sound files pulled from Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide, provided by Vermintide's Reddit community with blessing of Fatshark.

I downloaded this even though I have never played Vermintide. In fact, the only reason I know what Vermintide is, is because Steam gave me an ad for it once. I have many voice packs downloaded from games I have never played (and in some cases didn't even know existed).

As for anyone wondering; The quality seems fine. Lots of rat references. The quiet version sounds right and the regular version is too loud (at least for me).

Preview video would be really lovely to be able to get a sense of what the voicepack is like without having to playtest it ourselves - its just a quality of life thing. That said, I absolutely adore the 3 Vermintide packs you've done so far. Saltzpyre is weirdly deafening (not sure if that's just something on my end) but Kerillian and Kruber are fantastic.

@MrCoggis
Well, I have to work with what I have.

If this mod doesn't have the "Don't let me die with my boots on." line, instant 0 stars lol

No, people who are downloading this may know nothing of Vermintide; but if they hear a demo they might want it anyway. Got plenty of voicepacks from sources I don't know because they sounded good.

Second on preview video - I don't subscribe to a voice mod without hearing it first.

The purpose of example videos, and why they're made, is display the quality. In XCOMs case, lines could be used in ways that don't make sense. Maybe people want radio effects, and the mod doesn't. Or perhaps the audio quality is bad.
Generally, the small amount of time it takes to make an example of the various voice lines saves everyone else's time, and has no effect on the amount of people that choose to keep the mod or leave it.

I'll be making video after I'm done with all five voicepacks.
Why do you need them tho? I assume that people who are downloading this are well aware what Vermintide is and what kind of lines to expect.
