The Auckland Wagon

Following on from one of my previous wagons - The Tauranga Wagon - I decided to do something similar. This is a boxcar decorated with eight photographs that I took while in Auckland, which just so happens to be the largest city in New Zealand - with a population of at least 1.2 million people. New Zealand's overall population is only around 4.5 million. You might also be interested to know that 75% percent of the population live in the North Island, with the remaining 25% in the South Island. That really says something, doesn't it?

The photographs on this wagon represent different aspects of Auckland - railways, heritage trams, buses and ferries, plus a shot of the skyline. The most prominent building in the 'City of Sails' (as the nickname goes) is the Sky Tower, which dominates the Auckland skyline.
