Description
------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is a starwars themed ship. (Of blood and honor)
------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is an Xanion stage capital ship with 14 slots.

It can still be upgraded as most of it is lower quality materials to keep production costs down.

The MHM Engineered Tigon-class Capital Destroyer was an older Rotronian capital ship produced before the Clone Wars. Serving in the Rotronian Security Fleet. Designed to act as a picket/escort for other, larger Rotronian Security Fleet vessels. The Tigon-class was also designed to work as a solo patrol platform thanks to its many hardpoints and large hanger.

With the introduction of the Galactic Empire in 19 BBY, the Tigon-class was slowly planned to be phased out due to it’s age and role. While a number of the vessels had been recently refitted, most were scrapped or outright scuttled. Only a small number survived the downgrade. One such vessel entered into private service with it’s former commander, retired Commander Nelan Zurlo.

By the time of the Battle of Rotex, only a handful of the Tigon-class were still in operation.
Mostly used as system patrol and training platforms. The vessels that were available,
escaped and entered service with other Rotronian ships supporting the Manchi Rebel cell.

This is one such vessel. Brought up to modern standards with many of its external vulnerabilities moved inside the hull. It also had most of its internal systems updated. Its weapon placement was in parts quadrupled with auxiliary hardpoint mounts added to allow deep space operations. After going over budget and being several years behind schedual it was finaly released from its moorings too late to participate as the Manchi flagship in the skirmishes it was planned for.

Now as technology progresses its showing its age and has been given to you to combat the xsotan in deep space. Reaching the Avorian within the center of a neighbouring galaxy could bring untold advantages and technologies for the Manchi Rebels.

As you can tell it's a Star Wars ship originally called the Tigon-Class scout from Star Wars: Of Blood and Honor.
Designed by Steve "cool hand" Tyler. Iv tried to stay relatively close to the original design while compensating for in game ability. As such many of the details and most notably the paint has been changed as well as missing details due to block count issues.

It's still fairly detailed at 20k blocks reduced from 35k.

It has a slow acceleration speed due to the latest bug of internal engines showing through armor which i couldnt allow.
Vertical and horizontal speeds are unmatched for the size of craft however, so with boosting it will allow its captain to get into and out of danger with ease.

Defensively it's a rather hard nut to crack. Full integrity shielding as well as kinetic and energy shielding. It also has numerous hardpoints for anti fighter and anti torpedo weapons.

Offensively it packs more of a punch and has heavier hardpoints to mount the largest of guns you can find, aswell as a large number of medium hardpoints for secondaries. It has no torpedoes of its own but it does have a massive hanger to field the maximum amount of fighter wings.

Hardpoint selection.
COMBAT:
26 4m Hardpoints.
112 2m hardpoints.

DEFENSE:
38 1m Hardpoints.

AUXILIARY:
64 2m Hardpoints.

P.S. This is the first and last starwars themed ship as i dont care for starwars in general. So dont ask :)

P.S.S. I might do turrets themed to this ship soon but until then im sure other people have the relivent Starwars turrets on the workshop.

Notes:
Replace power storage with a computer core to reach 15 slots rather easily.
Sloped hardpoints can be used for armed turrets rather than mining.
Remove the three sloped armor on the front top of hull to access and upgrade gyro's.

Hey, erm comes as is, tbh just making it smaller should be fine as the dimensions and ratio of the ships internals are fine, just less mass, you might need to rework the hardpoints tho. Or at least the ones you wish to use if your not using mods for more weapons.

Woop :D Even tho iv made alot of ships and turrets iv never actually killed the boss XD Maybe got to the center once with 750h played LOL Theres turtle players and theres turtle players.... then theres me hahaha. Glad theres nothing wrong with the ship tho (other than limited hanger ports)

If i make a mk2 it will have more for sure :)

They don't blast through, can't see the internal engines at all right now which is perfect.

I replaced all the iron and titanium with trinium to make the ship lighter, scaled it up to get the 15th slot and promptly killed the final boss.

Yeah i know :) What i was saying tho is theres areas at the rear where its mostly crew, some paper thin hangers there would also work if you didnt want them under the "wings"

And no they wont dock through armor. Out of curiosity tho, will engine flares still blast out through armor or has that been fixed?

The issue with the hangar is that with 120 ships they take some time to leave through 1 bay and docking them is also time consuming. Not sure if fighters can dock through armor? Never tried that...

With 3 bays even if the additional 2 are paper thin, they leave in 3 lines, so basically 3 times as fast. This is why you see some carriers built with a ton of hangars :

Don't like that look though no matter how effective it is....

Glad you like it :) Took a while to build haha. Good shout on those guns tho! fit the theme perfectly! Going to sub them for the next time i play.

Also yeah you could also add small hanger plates in hidden areas if you dont want larger ones. The main hangers in place so if you can hide them under the aft section on the struts or crew compartments its out of the way :)

I love this ship. A few edits I had to make:

2 Hangars on the side to make deploying and docking fighers easier - the flat sides under the nameplate are perfect.

2 torpedo tubes up front.

These turrets look absolutely perfect on the ship:
