Important information

With the True Necrarchs out of date and currently crashing the game, this mod is of little use. I will return to update it if True Necrarchs (Lore Friendly Version) ever gets updated.

Mod information

True Necrarchs (Lore Friendly Version) Master Necromancer Staff Submod

A very simple submod to the amazing True Necrarchs (Lore Friendly Version) by Pythax. All it does is it changes Kemmler's staff on the Necrarch lord into a Master Necromancer's staff.

I admire what Pythax was able to do with the assets existing in the game, but I always felt like Kemmler's staff was his own custom creation tailored for his use, and that other people in the Warhammer universe wouldn't arrive at the same design. To that end, I wound up making a small modification where the Necrarch lord uses the standard Master Necromancer's staff like the vanilla model. A few people on the True Necrarchs workshop page mentioned preferring a staff change as well, so I thought it'd be nice to share.

REQUIRES True Necrarchs (Lore Friendly Version) TO WORK CORRECTLY.

Make sure you are subscribed to both mods. See main mod page for further screen shots (with Kemmler's staff).

The mod seems to be working as intended, no need to update for the current version of the parent mod or game. Let me know if you encounter any issues!

Absolute legend. Cheers. I had the same gripe about Kemmler's staff on an otherwise great skin, and was thinking about changing it myself.

Updated once more, but even if the launcher shows it as out-of-date it should run without issues as long as the main mod is functional.

The Workshop page didn't record that the mod has been updated today, though it has. Let me know if you run into any issues.

The Festag Update is here! Seems like the game didn't label any mod I've made or use as out-of-date, so there's no need to update. Just in case for future reference: Simple graphcal mods should function even if they're labeled out-of-date, patches typically don't interfere with them.

Welp, I tried to create a master necromancer staff submod of the alternate version by doing the usual alteration described in my How-to guide (in the discussion) but for some reason it results in an invisible staff. Which is weird, since the line should be referring to the vanilla location of the staff model so it should show up normally.

I will keep digging later but if someone realizes what's wrong let me know :)

@Asyran I might get on it later. If you are eager for the change, I wrote instructions on how to do it in the discussion section of the True Necrarchs (Lore Friendly Version) mod. Should maybe post it here too come to think of it.
