Morathi Melee Buff

Description
Updated for Silence and Fury!

This mod increases Morathi's Melee Attack, Melee Defence, Damage and Physical Resistance. It also gives her poison attacks and the frenzy passive. I made this mod because I used to use Morathi exclusively as a melee Lord and I felt her base stats didn't quite represent the fact that she is in fact a Bride of Khaine in addition to being the ultimate sorceress.

Damage - 100 Base, 240 AP
Physical Resistance - 0%

Frenzy - No

Modded Stats
Melee Attack - 65
Melee Defence - 50
Damage - 130 Base, 310 AP
Physical Resistance - 20%
Poison Attacks - Yes
Frenzy - Yes

Updated the mod for the latest patch. No balance changes were made. I hope the mod works for everybody!

Alright, well I just deleted my local copy and downloaded and tested the online copy. I can confirm this mod is 100% working. My only advice to you if you are having troubles is to check if you are using another mod that edits Morathi's stats, thus causing a compatibility issue, and to make sure you are using the community made Kaedrin's Mod Manager, which you can Google and download from github. Latest version is v1.8.10. The official launcher is so broken that not only does it not update mods properly, but it often messes up and doesn't enable and disable mods properly. I use KMM both for solo and co-op with my buddy just fine. Hope you get things sorted out!

I've stopped uploading mods ever since the launcher broke for WH2. I believe there are workarounds if you are determined enough, but I shared my mods because it was easy, lol. I am still using a version of this mod in my game, though I have edited some of the values, and it works fine. Honestly, I don't see any reason why the online file wouldn't work, or why it would only partially work, unless you use another mod that overwrites the same entries in the same tables loaded below it. Easiest way to check if it's working is to take a screenshot of Morathi's stats in custom battle without any mods and another with only this mod enabled, just like I do when I take before and after screenshots. :)

Hey, this doesn't look like its been commented on in awhile, just wanted to say not sure if everything is working with this now, was just investigating and looks like some stuff like frenzy and poison still is but not everything. Not sure if you're still like working on this stuff

I gave her poison attacks to be consistent with Hellebron and Death Hags. Magical attacks seems pointless since you'll probably just give her a weapon with magical damage anyway as you advance your campaign. Poison isn't a bad debuff anyway, it slows, tires and reduces damage. Magical attacks meanwhile are a lot easier to get on weapons, and don't inherently do anything except be reduced by magic res instead of physical res.

Not sure about rampage on hit. Even Hellebron has to use abilities to cause rampage IIRC.

I don't think this needs an update. The launcher is not telling me it is being registered as out of date, and the patch did not include any changes that would interfere with this mod that I noticed.

I definitely think that's an interesting idea. A skill line focused on Witch Elfy buffs for Morathi has a lot of potential. You could justify things like a Bonus vs. infantry and access the the various brews that way. I don't know how to do it at the moment though. I will have to consider the matter. If I did upgrade the mod in such a way I would probably move the traits such as Poison, Dodge and Frenzy into the skill tree (and add some other stuff) but keep the other stat bonuses as edits to the base unit though.
