True Necrarchs (Alternate Lore-Friendly Version)

Description
This is the Alternate Lore-Friendly and final version of the texture and model overhaul mod that I've been working on ever since the Bloodline DLC was released.

I just released a new Blood Dragon re-model, check it out here : https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1580171312

Should you wish to check out the other, older Lore-Friendly version of this mod that has been up for a while, then please click below:

For a less-lore friendly version where I took the design more towards a Nehekaran direction, then please click below:

Being a rather massive fan of the Vampires and their different bloodlines in the Warhammer Fantasy lore, I was wholly disappointed when the Bloodlines DLC released with Necrarchs that appeared to be nothing more then a generic Vampire Lord with a Master Necromancer's cloak and staff equipped.

With this mod I have attempted to capture the feeling of a Desiccated Vampiric Mage with themes of both Nehekara and Sylvannia woven into one. The result (I hope) has turned out quite pleasing.

Necrarchs have a long history steeped in the lore of Nehekara and it's downfall. These creatures are able to stave off their primal need to feed on blood by sustaining themselves with the winds of magic instead. This ability, however, comes at a cost; Necrarchs are frail and resemble near corpses in some of the oldest and worst cases.

:NOTE:
This mod is now compatible with any other mod with the use of the new Compatibility Patch. Check it out below:

If you encounter any bugs or errors then please feel free to let me know. Enjoy!

Will your mods eventually be ported to Warhammer 3?

Greetings all and happy holidays :).

I apologise for my absence from this mod for the past several years (life has been exeptionally chaotic and I simply did not have the time, nor interest to continue modding).

I am going through and updating all of my mods to be up-to-date with the most recent patch (The Twisted and the Twilight).

I hope this helps any issues that have occurred. Please let me know if any further issues arise!

@RedWyrm Download RPFM (Rusted Pack File Manager). Run it. Use it to open the pack file for the mod (C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\594570\1573933332). Delete the agents_subtype directory (should be the first folder on the list), leaving only the "ui" and "variantmeshes" folders. Save the pack file (overwrite the previous). Should fix the crashes next time you run the mod.

@Puggly the Grey could you give especifics on where that file is located? or how to reach it?

It’s not the portraits, it’s the agents_subtype file. This mod is from before the Grom and the Paunch update. The creator of this mod included the agents_subtype file to change the voice lines of the necrarchs. Delete that file and the mod works fine.

@Neferata13 it definitely crashes the game, ofc it's only a reskin mod but it's probably a problem related to the portraits when you open the tab to recruit new lords.

It should be fine as it's only a reskin, I've never had any problem.
