Dark Carnival: Remix

Description
Dark Carnival: Remix is a redesign of Dark Carnival that remakes the layout and adds new areas and events in Whispering Oaks to explore. Beta content has also been brought to life and restored throughout the maps. See the Tunnel of Love with flowing water, the towering Ferris Wheel spinning around, and the explosive Concert finale as it was originally intended. Players in Versus Mode will also have access to new mechanics to create more competitively viable experience. Finally, there's a secret ending cutscene that bridges the gap between Dark Carnival and Swamp Fever if you can find all five secret coins (one on each map)!

NOTE: If you get framerate drops in the finale when the music plays, type "snd_restart" in console.

This map is intentionally harder than the regular Dark Carnival. I recommend lowering the difficulty on your first playthrough.

How do you get that coin outside of the tunnel of love in map 3? The wire leads only to the crescendo.

Flash pots are a little anticlimactic I'll admit and the back and forths are kinda tiring but overall a solid 10/10 from me

Hi, I was wondering how you properly changed this map. When I decompile l4d maps, there are so many problems I can't keep track. What is the proper way to do it? I have a great idea but I can't make it until I learn how.

I use Bspsrc, I check for leaks, when I fix the leaks, it still says the same leak is still happening.

really loved the map, and would love to see more, however i'd really like if we could get an alt version, without the finale. i personally pefer the holdout.

honestly it feels like the best version of dark carnival. it takes what valve built originally built, trims the excess and expands on what makes the original fun while adding twists for some flavor without it being confusing.
(also the coin hunt was pretty fun, and i liked that it was more involved than just looking around dark corners :steamthumbsup: :bigjohn:)
