CURRENT SUPPORTED VERSION OF CTA: 1.206.0 - 1.210.0 (3/31/2020)

Updated all maps to include the heroes gamemode. Merry Christmas.
EDIT: Sorry, I derped making the maps and didnt think to add more spawn points to account for bigger map sizes. Maps should work now when maximum amount of slots are in use in Heroes.

Updated all maps (except villa, sorry, too small.) to include Armored Warfare and Combined Arms.
Armored warfare and Combined arms are untested on these maps, let me know if there's any issues. Maps are still designed as 4x4 so I don't know if the game will allow 8x8 on them, but the full 8x8 has been added into the armored warfare and combined arms modes for the maps.

All maps run the following gamemodes:
Ammunition
Armored Warfare (excluded for Villa)
Combined Arms (excluded for Villa)
Battle Zones
Evacuation
King of the Hill


4x4 Offroad - Large forested area surrounding a small mountain base.

4x4 Pipe Dream - Desecrated terrain featuring trench warfare.

4x4 District 3 - Small city in the starting phase of an invasion.

4x4 The Wall - A border wall located in the mountains.

4x4 Swampland - Ruined buildings in the middle of a swamp.

4x4 Four Corners - Quick arcade map for fun, four bridges connected at the center.

4x4 Port Kalmen - A small port with farmland nearby.

4x4 Valley Pass - Road cutting through the snowy mountains.

4x4 Dunes - Arcade map in a desert setting.

4x4 Villa - Small villa in the mountains.

4x4 City Siege - Inspired by Red Alert 2 map. (requested by JayFoxley, merry xmas :D)

4x4 I-221 - Interstate with heavy traffic. (requested by JayFoxley, merry xmas :D)

4x4 The Compound - Desert compound in a farmland/light urbanized area.

4x4 Covert Airfield - Snow covered airfield hidden in the mountains/forest.

4x4 Downtown - Downtown area with large buildings and narrow streets.

4x4 Crossing - Mountains with bridge connections in a moderate forest. (new!)

4x4 Mischief - Four military bases connected by bridges in light forest. (new!)

4x4 Border Town - Small town below a dam with a nearby military base and tunnel connection. (new!)

4x4 Winter D-Day - (WIP) Beaches covered in trenches with a line of bunkers on a cliff-side.

Renebey, I'm not working on this game currently. If there hasn't been any major changes you can manually update the map pack by going into its folder and changing its version number. This uses nothing but vanilla assets so there shouldn't be anything to "update" necessarily. (Google Translate)

Yeah I feel you. I hate it when a game has so much potential but ends up abandoned. For what is worth, it is thanks to people like you in this community that this game still alive and fun.

I may check out GoH in the future, for now I'm stuck with CTA :P

No doubt, love the modern setting, they just made improvements in gates of hell that make it a little more bearable for me. Conquest could've been more than hopping map to map with a roster, there's a lack of weaponry/vehicles to me, balance isn't quite right, animations are still pretty basic, some of my complaints with CTA in general. But like I said, gates was definitely worked on by the studios A-team and this was left to limbo. Definitely get more satisfaction watching people die in gates of hell vs people just falling to the ground like all the previous titles. Not that gates is a drastic improvement over CTA itself, but enough to make me second guess starting CTA. =/

Thanks @Avoh, worked like a charm. I do agree that the dev support is lackluster at best, but it seems that the community is doing a fine job keeping the game alive. And personally, I enjoy the modern take of this game compared to GoH 2WW setting that we have experienced multiple times in the MoW series.

There's no guarantee this works at all anymore, but you can download the mod and go into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\302670\random number for this mod, open "Mod.info" with a text editor, any should work.

CHANGE
{minGameVersion "version number"}
{maxGameVersion "version number"}

to

{minGameVersion "1.228.0"}
{maxGameVersion "1.250.0"}

(this works for current CTA version based off the Warfighter mod by Yuri, only mod I'm subbed to right now)

I don't really play CTA anymore due to lack of time, if I get back into mapping then most likely I'd start from scratch with a entire new pack and probably for a future title. They didn't go as far in supporting CTA as I would like and it feels lackluster to me, personal opinion... CTA: Gates of Hell is a step in the right direction in comparison, functionality wise.
