Description
"Man this single shotgun kinda sucks"
-Anyone who ever played Serious Sam, 2001-present

At least they got the BFE shotgun right in Fusion, but man does the HD shotgun still feel terrible. The model is weird, the animation is weird, the sounds are weird, it's just not very fun to shoot and you only get to use it for 5 minutes before getting the vastly superior Double Barrel Coach Gun.

Still, this mod aims to improve the feel of the vanilla single shotgun, with new animations, tweaked rendering params, a slightly edited mesh, and a shell particle. This is purely a cosmetic mod, stats have not been altered

Modifies the first person mdl file, animation file and the rendering parameters, so it's not compatible with any of those FOV mods, or Rabbit's reanimations.

Special thanks to Vanya, who, like any true mexican, did most of the white man's work.

Unfortunately doesn't work with "Extended FOV for Weapons".
well its simple gps if you use a remodel with a reanimation it does not work

where to report issue? (it says "unable to load level." when trying to start single-player on first level (TFE))

I also have problems making this mod work, but I don't have "Extended FOV for weapons", the shotgun reloading animation is kind of the same as the regular game/s, except that it's a bit more centered on the screen, I'm not sure what's wrong. It worked fine before today and I liked it, so I have no idea what broke it.

beatiful reanimation, but "Extended FOV for weapons (SS:HD)" seems to make it wonk out so the weapon takes up half the screen

Im jealous, this is essentially what I tried to achieve but you executed it way better. also it seems as though my animation moved over to the left a bit more and no longer aiming at the crosshair (that bothers my ocd something fierce)

Maybe new dbarrel reanimation? rabbit-s reanimation is not quite good
